About the Festival

Our mission is to inspire and support young pianists by giving them an international stage to grow and push their limits. Through masterclasses, solo performances, and the unique chance to play with an orchestra, the CFYTO Festival helps them develop musically and professionally.

By bringing together talented musicians, experienced mentors, and a prestigious concert venue, our aim is to create an experience that strengthens both their skills and artistic expression.

Available Professors

General Information

Masterclasses Format

Each participant will receive 6 masterclasses as follows :

  • 5 lessons of 45 minutes with Prof. Raskin, Prof. Teixeira Lopes & Prof. Vanden Eynden
  • 1 meeting with Maestro Vahan Mardirossian ( Conductor ) or 1 extra lesson

Participants receive the schedule prior to arrival.

Performance Guidelines

Solo Concert : March 5 2026 in Antwerp. Max 10 mins performance.

Orchestra Concert : March 1 2026 at GC De Lijsterbes. One movement of a concerto.

Concerto Selection

• Bach D & F Minor

• Haydn D Major

• Mozart K. 414, 271, 595, 466

• Beethoven 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5

• Chopin 1 or 2

• Grieg Concerto

• Schumann Concerto

• Saint-Saëns 2nd

• Rachmaninov 2nd

Participants may propose a concerto outside the list subject to conductor's agreement. Multiple movements available at additional cost.

Orchestra Project

  • 5 lessons + 1 meeting with Mto. Mardirossian
  • Solo concert participation ( March 5 )
  • Audition prior to orchestra concert
  • Sunday Orchestra Concert performance
  • Daily practice time & full festival access

Solo Project

  • 6 lessons of 45 minutes
  • Solo concert participation ( March 5 ) - Max 15 mins
  • Daily practice time
  • Free access to all masterclasses
